The existing reception areas were an un-inviting and dated space, attracting anti-social behaviour and considered dangerous by the residents. The brief was to upgrade the reception areas and turn these into a safe, modern and manned concierge area, so as to deter anti-social behaviour.
The works had to be undertaken during normal working hours with the added complications of the volume of residents who reside within both blocks, interfacing with the residential caretakers’ team, visitors to the block, works being undertaken by other maintenance teams, other trades and contractors with a tight completion deadline of four weeks to deliver each concierge area for the grand opening.
